To enhance the children's English proficiency in the new semester, we're kicking off the semester with a Parents Conference. On March 16th and 17th, the English Teaching Department both in Best Bilingual School and Headstart Bilingual School hosted grade-specific meetings.

为了更好地帮助孩子们在新学期的英文学习进步，两校英文教学处在3月16日和3月17日召开了各年级的学期初英文家长会。

During the meetings, our Reach teachers outlined the semester's learning objectives and demonstrated a live class, showing how the students engage with vocabulary. Varied classroom activities further illuminated how the students perform in English classes. Our Friends teachers presented an outline of the Grammar curriculum. Parents had been eagerly participating, embracing the role of student, actively engaging with teachers and their activities. Some parents even rewarded their kids with stickers from the teachers, serving as inspirational role models. Our English assistant teachers had also shared tips on supporting students' English learning after school. This collaboration between teachers and parents fostered a positive learning attitude in English.

会议中，Reach课程老师们介绍了本学期学习的主要内容并向家长们进行了部分课程的展示。Reach老师带领着家长从词汇的发音、音节、重音到释义和例句，一步步重现了课堂上的教授单词的方法，让家长们亲身体验了学生是如何学习词汇的。Friends系列课程也很丰富，老师为家长们呈现了文法课堂。家长们热情高涨地参与到活动中来，好像自己又回到学生时代，和老师们一起学习，收获了很多的欢乐。积极参与课上环节的家长得到了老师的贴纸，老师鼓励家长把贴纸作为礼物送给自己的孩子，因为他们是孩子的好榜样，同时也可以以这种方式来鼓励孩子积极主动学习。英文带班老师总结了孩子们学习中的问题，针对家长如何在家帮助孩子学习英语也提出了行之有效的建议。相信老师和家长通力合作会保证孩子们以稳定的状态在这学期的学习中有更多的收获。

A Lastly, the English department supervisors highlighted recent school and department activities, emphasizing that they serve not just for fun but primarily as learning experiences. The diversity of activities aims to foster critical thinking, cooperation, and self-expression. Doing activities is a teaching method to help students learn more.
